Project: Interior & Exterior Wayfinding Refresh

Summary:

From the onset of GDS’ and Englewood Health’s partnership in 2007, each have grown dramatically in knowledge of signage. While the expertise of technical aspects in terms of fabrication and design, have predominantly expanded through GDS personnel; key members of Englewood’s staff have developed a keen eye for decision points and traffic flow throughout the hospital. Now in 2020.. GDS has completed over 85 projects from small scale insert updates to large scale full brand refreshes for Englewood Health. These projects have had a very quick turn over rate no matter the size, due to the increased understanding of way finding and how it can be best implemented throughout a hospital that services annually 2,500+ Employees, 1,100+ Medical Staff, 600+ Volunteers, 15,000+ inpatient admissions, and 530+ licensed beds.

Gotham+Health+Ridgewood+2020

NYCH+H Gotham Health Exterior

Location: New York City

Project: Exterior Signage Refresh

Summary:

As New York City Health + Hospitals Gotham Health continue to expand within the five boroughs, a large number of facilities were in need of an exterior facelift to show the community that they are part of the trusted network of health providers. As a 15+ year vendor of NYCH+H, GDS was contracted to provide the signage solution to make this happen. The goal was to take these unique buildings and outfit each one with an array of assets that would convey brand consistency, regardless if you where you may live within New York City.

A New Look for a New Decade

Project: GDS 2020 Brand Refresh

Summary:

We wanted to be the first to welcome you to the brand new GDS website and brand. Our approach to signage and wayfinding is efficient and clean, so we needed a website and logo that was the same way!

We’ve come a long way since we opened our doors in 1996. Our first logo was a rising yellow sun over our name: GDS Inc. As we grew, so did our style. While our logo had a few changes over the years - today our logo is sophisticated and modern representation of our brand. Just as we have grown an adapted as a company, so has the GDS Logo.

Keene State College

Location: Keene, NH

Project: Cohen Center Interior & Exterior Signage

Summary:

The Cohen Center for Holocaust & Genocide Studies is dedicated to remembrance and education of a time where tragedy could be considered an understatement. While the Cohen Center is one of the oldest Holocaust resource centers, GDS played a key part in recently refurbishing the center with donor signage, high quality graphic displays, excepts displayed in vinyl, among typical ADA compliant informational signage. This project was inspiring to the GDS team as it allowed us to not only showcase our full service abilities, but also contribute to a mission that is so uplifting. Dedication and recognition signage is a vertical of the signage industry that is often very rewarding as it allows a signage company to step outside of the code complaint necessary signage and help to memorialize aspects of people's lives.
