COVID19 Prevention and Protection through Simple Awareness

Summary:

We can all do our part in these unprecedented times to help curb the spread of the COVID19 virus. The first step in doing so is to make people aware of regulations and recommendations provided for prevention and protection. The easiest solution is to have signage posted in key places for all to see. The friendly reminder allows people to practice better safety and hygiene tactics. For the everyday consumer we have made our products available quickly with Amazon Prime.

With the Phase 2 reopening we are now pivoting our efforts to assist with NYC Department of Buildings compliance. They have set guidelines requiring specific signage to be posted at restrooms, elevator cabs, and at landings that limits occupancy to 50%. Additionally, there must be COVID-19 signage visibly throughout any site reminding personnel to adhere to proper hand hygiene, physical distancing rules, appropriate use of PPE, and cleaning and disinfecting protocol.

In tandem with our out of the box offerings, the bulk of our clientele are in the healthcare industry and we have been working around the clock to alleviate any stress we can during these unprecedented times. There has been a rapid emergence of temporary healthcare facilities and testing sites and the stressors associated with getting tested or finding treatment can be disheartening. Being able to navigate easily can help ease some of this. As an essential business, GDS is here and will be here to assist. We’ve partnered with multiple hospitals already under the NYCH+H umbrella, NYU Langone, and many more to provide wayfinding for pop up Emergency Departments.
